iPrognosis going global!

---

Hi reader,

A new year, a new continent! We have been busy in the last months and can now proudly present the extension of the iPrognosis app to Austria, Spain and Australia! Willkommen! Bienvenidos! Welcome! This outreach has been made possible by the support of our local champions, thus a big thank you to Dr. Dieter Volc in Austria (see also our new ambassador video below), Profesor Juan Manuel de Pablos Pons in Spain and Dr. Sanjay Gangadharan in Australia who have supported the iPrognosis consortium in their respective countries. Help us spread the word too by sharing our latest press releases!

Our researchers have also worked hard which has resulted in a number of research publications made by the project. Most recently, our partners from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (AUTH-MUG) have published a new article in the IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics discussing how modeling wrist micromovements can contribute to monitoring eating behaviour, with possible expansion to Parkinson's disease detection.

Keep spreading the word about our early detection app! Data collection to help us refine algorithms screening for Parkinson’s early symptoms will keep going until October 2019. Download the iPrognosis mobile application for free on Google Play Store in Austria, Australia, Germany, Greece, Portugal, Spain and the UK.
