i-PROGNOSIS was a proud participant at the exhibition of the 2018 International Congress of Parkinson’ s Disease and Movement Disorders that took place in Hong Kong, October 5-9, 2018 and was organised by the Movement Disorder Society (MDS). Didn’ t have the chance to see i-PROGNOSIS at the event? Check out the summary bellow.

MDS is a premier professional society, with more than 7000 members, interested in Parkinson’ s disease and related neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental. The theme of the MDS Congress and Exhibition this year was Technology in the Diagnosis, Monitoring and Management of Movement Disorders (www.mdscongress.org). Few better places to get feedback regarding i-PROGNOSIS project than in the allegedly one of the biggest and most famous conferences/exhibitions in Parkinson’ s disease worldwide.

The MDS Congress and Exhibition gathered thousands of researchers, post-doc fellows clinicians, scientists and other healthcare and non-healthcare professionals with an interest in the current research and approaches for the diagnosis and treatment of movement disorders, who had the chance to learn more about the scope and goals of i-PROGNOSIS, its current status and future plans.

The project was showcased at a dedicated booth, where hundreds of participants explored the latest version of the iPrognosis app (available on Google Play) and learn about the overall progress of the project towards capturing early symptoms of Parkinson’ s disease as well as providing personalised gamified assistive interventions.
