ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems is the premier international conference of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and i-PROGNOSIS was a proud participant at the 2018 edition held in Montréal, Canada from April 21-26, 2018. Didn’t have the chance to see i-PROGNOSIS at the event? Check out the summary bellow.
i-PROGNOSIS is a multidisciplinary project, with important components related with the interaction with the patient, and acceptance of the proposed technical solutions from a human-computer interaction and usability standpoint. Few better places to get feedback regarding these topics than arguably the largest conference in HCI worldwide (https://chi2018.acm.org/).
ACM CHI 2018 gathered thousands of researchers, professionals and practitioners, whom had the chance to learn more about the project goals, current status and future plans.
The project was showcased at the PLUX booth, where hundreds of participants saw the latest version of the iPrognosis mobile app, the Smart Belt prototype and learn about the overall progress of the project towards capturing early signs of Parkinson’s disease. PLUX hosted Q&A periods, live demos, promotional videos and flyers.
