Coinciding with the 150th anniversary of Technical University Munich (TUM), DAGA invites you all of us to take a look at its acoustics tradition. Acousticians will celebrate TUM’s 150th anniversary with a double conference of DAGA and GAMM, the latter being the conference of the International Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, which features numerical acoustics.
DAGA 2018 will again comprise all areas of acoustics. It is organized by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering together with colleagues from the Faculty of Civil, Geo and Environmental Engineering and from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. As DAGA has outgrown the inner-city buildings of TUM, it will now take place in the spacious building of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Its many lecture halls and wide hallway present an ideal space for a large number of participants and exhibitors. Furthermore, the building can be reached directly by underground train and easily by car and from the airport.
Michael Stadtschnitzer and Hagen Jaeger, two i-PROGNOSIS partners from Fraunhofer IAIS will give a presentation of the project on that occasion, focusing on i-PROGNOSIS Voice analysis.
