i-PROGNOSIS presented at the Red Cross Senior Academy in Portugal

On November 24, 2017 the iPrognosis mobile application was disseminated to potential end users by the i-PROGNOSIS partner Dr. Sofia Balula Dias from the Faculdade de Motricidade Humana, Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal in a Senior Academy of the Portuguese Red Cross.

In general, the Senior Academy promotes activities for the participation and inclusion of older adults within communities. By sharing knowledge, it fosters interpersonal relationships, promotes the exercise of full citizenship, as well as contributing to active ageing. It is in this approach that an i-PROGNOSIS event was organized with about 30 older persons (including both healthy adults and persons with Parkinson’s disease), in order to increase the visibility of the i-PROGNOSIS project and the dissemination of the iPrognosis app, in particular.
