On 29 March 2017, the European Parkinson’s Disease Association (EPDA) is organising two workshops in Brussels on the themes of “Parkinson’s disease in Europe: Time for a new policy direction?” and “The My PD Journey Composite Scale: Improving diagnosis and disease management”.
i-PROGNOSIS will attend the second round table where the following questions will be addressed:
- Why do we need a new scale?
- What is the value for clinicians and patients?
- What role can the EU play in promoting better diagnosis?
The event will bring together representatives from the EU decision-making community, the healthcare and patient spheres to discuss the way forward for EU and national policies affecting people with Parkinson’s and the roll-out of the new composite scale. If you would like to get involved in our second study and/or attend our high-level workshops, please email secretariat@mpdj.eu
