Noami Ducasse, Occupational Therapy student in ILFOMER (Limoges, France) published recently the result of her thesis which looked at the impact of a musical technical aid to support PD patients while eating.

Parkinson’s disease (PD) impacts activities in daily life (ADL), notably eating behaviours resulting in denutrition as a frequant cormmobidity of PD. While existing technical aids don’t allow for a complete compensation of motor troubles, many studies demonstred the interest of an audio tracking system to serve as support to extrem sychronisation.
