Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) are expected to bring unprecedented innovations in health and care. What is being done in Europe today to accelerate the development and the use of these advanced technologies, enabling new solutions for health and care? What role can Horizon 2020 play in supporting innovation hubs for health, in the development of smart connected devices and the digitisation of health and care? What are the opportunities for researchers and other actors in the field?

The first day of this workshop (13-14 September 2016) will be focused on providing information on Horizon 2020’s role with a European Commission’s presentation of the relevant call topics.

On 14 September, the event will be the occasion to discuss the current state of work around  the Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) and the opportunities for researchers and others stakeholders. The debate will be enriched through Public and private organisations and initiatives’ perspectives.
